Tenth West is a multifaceted spot on Seattle’s Queen Anne that blends a casual breakfast nook vibe with a well-curated deli, beer, and wine selection. Its primary draw is the breakfast and brunch scene, where freshly made dishes like scrambles, avocado toast, and hearty sandwiches set a comfortable tone for starting the day.

Visitors often come here for a relaxed morning experience, helped along by the French press coffee delivered to your table—something that feels a bit more deliberate than your typical cup-to-go. The seating is straightforward, accommodating friendly local regulars, dog walkers, and neighborhood workers alike, often arriving before noon on weekdays or weekends when the kitchen serves up reliably fresh and flavorful plates. The presence of dog bowls and occasional dog treats at the ready hints at a community-oriented vibe where pets are welcome companions.

The menu’s range from classic corn beef hash and loaded potatoes to pecan waffles and fresh deli sandwiches shows a focus on approachable, made-from-scratch comfort food without fuss. You’ll find items perfectly suited for an easy mid-morning meal—like the vegetable-packed scrambles or the cozy grilled cheese—paired with quality coffee that feels thoughtfully prepared.

Tenth West’s location on 10th Avenue West offers decent street parking and convenient access via the #1 bus line, making it easy to drop by whether you’re coming from nearby neighborhoods or trekking in for a weekend breakfast. The calm, inviting atmosphere and steady, friendly service make it a good choice for anyone looking for a neighborhood spot to settle into a morning or early afternoon meal without feeling rushed.

It’s a place favored by locals who appreciate straightforward, tasty diner-style food complemented by attentive, personable service. Whether you stop in with your dog for a casual breakfast or come by to pick up a sandwich and some craft beer or wine, Tenth West balances a welcoming, unpretentious environment with well-executed food and drinks geared toward everyday enjoyment.

We've enjoyed breakfast here every day for the past week, and it’s been amazing each time! The food is freshly cooked, flavorful, and consistently excellent. The staff is always welcoming and friendly, making each visit even better. Highly recommend starting your day here!

I was reluctant to go here because of the negative reviews about one of the employees but I have it a try and I’m glad I did. I went on a Saturday around 11:00. There was a lady and a guy working. They were both very friendly. The guy was my server and he was great!! I ordered the special and they even accommodated my subscription!! The food was so good and the coffee was delicious as well! I’ll be back. The only negative feedback I have is that they need to improve the ac situation because it was way too hot to sit inside today!

Love this place! The coffee comes to you in your own French press. We were there for breakfast on a Thursday morning. I had one of the specials, avocado, spinach, tomato, garlic and cheese scramble and it was delish! My friend had a tasty western scramble, ham, onion, green pepper and cheese. The scrambles came with a fresh fruit bowl and baguette toast. A hidden gem in Queen Anne and I would make it a point to hit this place whenever I'm in town again.

Walked over with my dogs for breakfast. Server was very nice, even offered us some dog treats at the end. Food and coffee were great! Will definitely be back. There were a couple of water bowls for dogs out by the trees, but we always bring our own.

A neighborhood gem! I'm addicted to their tuna salad sandwich. Super nice service and a wide variety for such a small space. They close a bit earlier than most places. Plenty of street parking, but also right on the 1 bus line.

In town for a quick work trip. My daughter said, she's going there when she wants my potatoes Joan's loaded potatoes were rather amazing. Just right. The first one is grilled veggies with taters. Hubby said they were pretty good too... tho I didn't try them.
